Mullan Colour Finishes & Glass Quality
Mullan Lighting Brass light finishes will vary as these are all hand made to order - there is an 'acceptable colour' range for the Antique Brass & Silver finishes details of which are detailed here. (Click/mullan-product-finishes.html Here) That page forms part of these terms & conditions.
Mullan Lighting's Glass are all hand blown and have a quality requirement met by Mullan Lighting's supplier before goods are released to them.
As these shades are all handmade there may be some visible marks where the glass has been held in the mould. They and we very rarely have any queries on the glass shades as most of the small defects or "chips" (no deeper than 1.5mm) that occasionally occur are around the neck of the glass that is concealed by our lamp holder and unseen when the fitting is in place. If you have any concern about a glass let us know first and we will confirm if it is acceptable or not (in which case it would be replaced)
Mullan Lighting's glass supplier describes any smudges or trails which occur during the handmade manufacturing process as "acceptable when unnoticeable from a distance up to 1 meter". The thickness of the walls may also vary between 2-4mm as, again, the products are handmade.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and would like to resolve any issues if at all possible so please contact us first. We reserve the right to replace or repair any faulty product.
All Mullan Lighting lights are bespoke, hand made for you, when you order them, they are therefore non-returnable, in the unlikely event they arrive damaged or if there is a technical issue, please contact us first so that we can assess what needs to be done. We may require a photograph of the light to speed assistance. We or the manufacturer reserve the right to replace or repair the fitting as appropriate, and will contact you with details as each case is different.
If you choose to return the order (or part ) a charge of 50% of the full selling price will be deducted from the refund, the cost of return is your responsibility.
J D Burford's Lights are assembled at the time of the order and painted as per your request, we can therefore be more flexible on returns. Colours that readily accommodated are cream, silver, blacks and dark grey. All other colours are only supplied by special request and as such regarded as bespoke orders as we have to pay a surcharge of £20 per colour. This will be deducted from the refund.
Returned goods must be unused and have not been installed or fitted and returned in original (or good) packing, they will not be accepted where goods have been used or installed and prevent them being re-sold as new. Always return items by a method that can be tracked and keep a receipt.
We can arrange collection of a return and will quote if required, these costs to be deducted from refund. Link to Returns Page
