Description

The Pando - whose name derives from the Aspen tree species - impressively resembles its origin nickname of 'The Trembling Giant' with it being the tallest pendant light in the new Mullan Ceramics lighting collection.

Distinctively showcasing a crackled coarse texture, the Pando decoratively displays crafted split markings on its surface, adding a sensation of warmth and character to the design.

The Pando was inspired by nature and the breath-taking countryside scenery that surrounds our ceramic studio in Ireland. In keeping with the natural charm of Mullan Village, the Pando design is an inviting ceramic light that helps create a great sense of belonging.

The Black Clay colour finish of the Pando projects the detail of the coarse, textured surface beautifully. Highlighting the rustic markings on the ceramic shade, this darker colour finish is a fitting choice for minimal and industrial interiors.

A defined, twisted brass ring with minimal dainty engravings brings an aura of artistic flair to the design. The decorative brass ring is adjustable in colour with options that include antique brass, antique silver, polished brass and satin brass.

A minimal yet captivating pendant light, the Pando is available in three beautiful shade colours: Black Clay, Blue Earth and Red Iron.

Please note that our ceramic lights are handmade in our studio in Mullan Village. As such, the exact size, colour, and texture of each piece may vary.

Each light is shown with its finish options, however we can often have lights finished in either another antique or brass finish or if you want a coloured light they can be powder coat finished in one of the colours.

Our products are hand finished therefore each item is unique. The colours shown below are intended as an indication only and some variation is to be expected.

Many of the brass lights can also be finished in a powder coated colour finish, see below.

All Lights with an inner glass require a T30 Tube Bulb - (Bathroom IP65 versions mostly)
E27 is a standard Bulb Base - E14 is Usually a small Candle Bulb
4 w LED = 40 Old Watt Bulb / 6w LED = 60 Old Watt Bulb / 8w LED = 75 Old watt Bulb (all approx. depending on manufacturer)
Pearl LED bulbs are good for outdoor lights and a 5 watt LED will give plenty of light for most walkways outside.
If your light will only take a lower wattage, we will provide the correct version.
Teardrop / Edison Antique are good for brass finished or decorative lights.
Dimmable LED Bulbs can be used with or without a dimmer - but need an LED dimmer if you use one.

Q. Are your lights dimmable?

A. All our lights can be dimmed, if your using LED light bulbs you need a dimmable bulb and suitable dimmer switch, we also supply these options.

Q. Are your Brass lights lacquered?

A. Most of Mullan's lights are made from brass (unless otherwise stated) and will therefore be lacquered to prevent tarnishing and save you polishing, with the exception of Natural Brass that isn't lacquered so it can age. You can specify lights to be unlacquered if you prefer.

Q. I would like a different colour or finish to my light.

A. Many of our lights have multiple finishes or colours shown as options, if you want something different this may be possible at extra cost, let us know we may well be able to help.
